Switch Hitter identifies lighting into four categories:
The first category is minimum task level lighting used during non-business hours to provide adequate lighting levels for employees to perform their daily tasks.
The second category is your normal full level lighting presently being used during regular business hours. When these two categories of lighting sourcesare identified and controlled separately we are able to reduce operating costs, increase operating efficiencies and promote meaningful conservation.
The third category is lighting sources is lighting sources you want to turn off at other times to promote energy conservation or in response to a Demand Response from the local utility.
The fourth category is Circuit Breakers (marked with Always Leave On labels) that you never want turned off. This will nearly eliminate accidental
circuit breaker turn off of power to critical data, computer, Security Systems, exit lights, emergency lights, etc.
